This isn't about nazis. This is about control freaks aghast that they don't have control over what everybody says, wanting Substack under State control like Meta and Google. If Substack relents, there will be control freaks swarming Substack, denouncing everyone they don't agree with as nazis.
The first case the ACLU took after coming into existence was protecting a KKK rally. They had obtained permits and violated no laws, but were being banned by local govt. ACLU was principled back then. The last case they took of this type was to defend the "Unite the Right" group in Charlottesville. Fyi, if you haven't researched that event, know that you have been lied to so utterly about it. The truth is that the mayor of Charlottesville made his city "the capital of the resistance" and was violating the law and people's rights in pursuit of his political gain. They also set up the event to make the Right wingers 'lambs to the slaughter' by cancelling their permit after they showed up and then using fencing to funnel them into a mob of thousands of radical leftists who attacked them immediately.
You may be stupid and arrogant enough to believe people who have opinions you don't like should be shut down, denied their rights and beaten, but the entire American and Western Civ experiment relies on reason, and therefore the free exchange of ideas to succeed. "Nazis" have rights in our society, just like radical neo-Marxist revolutionaries such as Antifa members. That you don't understand or appreciate that 'sunlight is the best disinfectant' is your defect, not our society's. People are FREE to believe what they want to believe, no matter what you think of it. Grow up.
Also, stop pretending you are fighting Nazis, it's so dishonest and over the top, cuz most of the people you claim are Nazis are not. And those that are? They aren't a problem as they hold no power on the Right, and will never gain any serious popular support.
