GOP Candidates for Congress Who Participated in January 6th Have Raised More Than $15.8 Million
Republican candidates for U.S. House or Senate that participated in "March to Save America" rally or were present on the Capitol grounds during the Capitol Riot have raised at least $15.8 million.
Republican candidates for the U.S. House or Senate that were speakers or attended the "March to Save America" rally or were present on the Capitol grounds during the Capitol Riot have raised at least $15.8 million, according to campaign finance records.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (CO-3) has received nearly $4 million in campaign contributions for her reelection campaign, more than any of the 15 candidates that participated in the rally or were present at the Capitol. Derrick Van Orden, candidate for the U.S. House in Wisconsin, has received $3.4 million in campaign contributions; Rep. Madison Cawthorn (NC-11), who has been plagued by scandal, has received $3.2 million in campaign contributions for his reelection campaign; and Rep. Mo Brooks (AL-5) has received $2.6 million in campaign contributions for his Senate campaign.
Jason Riddle, who is a candidate for U.S. House in New Hampshire, has yet to file a campaign finance report with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).
