Right-Wing Extremists Networks
The Capitol Riot Insurrectionists Networks has been updated with full profiles of each of the alleged participants in the January 6th insurrection that are affiliated with the Proud Boys, including DOJ case numbers and hashtags used to identify individuals by the Sedition Hunters and other online researchers.
This week, there will be complete profiles of each of the alleged participants in the January 6th insurrection that are affiliated the other right-wing extremists and groups including the Three Percenters and the Oath Keepers, as well as individuals that have been identified as adherents of the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Women and the Capitol Riots
Among the more than 600 individuals arrested and charged for participating in the January 6th insurrection, 88 have been women. Among the women alleged to have participated in the Capitol Riots, at least six are connected to right-wing extremists networks and 11 are among the known adherents to the QAnon conspiracy theory. You can now use the mapping tool tagged to identify the women alleged to have participated in the Capitol Riots.
I'll be joined by Seyward Darby, author of Sisters in Hate, tonight at 7:00pm EST on Twitter Spaces to discuss the updates to the Capitol Riot Insurrectionists Networks mapping project, and the gender dynamics of the January 6th insurrection.
