Dr. Jennifer Mercieca is an historian of American political rhetoric, and a professor in the Department of Communication and Journalism at Texas A&M University. Mercieca is a Contributing Editor for Zócalo Public Square and a Contributor for Resolute Square.

This event will be an opportunity for you to provide your perspective, engage in conversation, and ask questions about this month’s topic: The far right’s fascist rhetoric, the language of politic violence, and how former president Donald Trump uses the demagogue’s playbook.
