“White Lives Matter” is a racists response to the Black Lives Matter movement, and “it soon became a staple among white supremacist mantras, continuing even after the original campaigners ceased their activities.”

WLM reportedly originated with “two white supremacists and the Texas-based Aryan Renaissance Society, a neo-Nazi group, appear to be the main players behind it, hosting WLM rallies and engaging in WLM flyer distributions across the nation since 2015.”

There have been 4,515 incidents of White Supremacist propaganda in 2022, according to the ADL H.E.A.T. Map, and many of these incidents have been connected to WLM.

WLM promotes campaigns and events through various online forums and messaging applications, and is highly active on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram. The group’s various chapters, in the United States and overseas, often post images and videos of WLM’s propaganda campaigns.

WLM is planning a “day of action” on December 17th.
