Supporters of the individuals criminally charged for the January 6th insurrection have used crowdfunding websites to raise more than $2.8 million for legal fees.
Supporters of the individuals criminally charged for participation in the January 6th Capitol Riots have used crowdfunding websites to raise more than $2.8 million that are purportedly intended for legal fees. Through crowdfunding websites such as Give Send Go, Our Freedom Funding, and Go Fund Me, supporters of the alleged insurrectionists have raised more than $2.3 million for the legal fees of individual defendants, and another $515,000 for legal defense funds.

Nearly $1 Million Has Been Raised Though Crowdfunding for Right-Wing Extremists Including Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and Three Percenters.
There has been approximately $292,000 raised for the legal fees of alleged insurrectionists that are affiliated with the Proud Boys, approximately $554,000 raised for those affiliated with the Oath Keepers, and approximately $112,000 raised for those affiliated with the Three Percenters.
Crowdfunding Pages For Six Alleged Insurrectionists Have Raised At Least $100,000, And Crowdfunding Pages For An Additional 37 Alleged Insurrectionists Have Raised At Least $10,000.
Jonathon Owen Shroyer, host of a program on the right-wing conspiracy website InfoWars, has raised more though crowdfunding than any other individual alleged insurrectionists: $248,000. There are also multiple crowdfunding pages for a handful of the alleged insurrectionists. There are three crowdfunding pages supporting Nathaniel Degrave, 32-year old man from Nevada who has hinted that he may run for mayor of Las Vegas, and the three pages have raised a total of more than $136,000.
