Right-wing groups continue to use Facebook and Eventbrite to organize protests against public health measures to prevent to spread of COVID-19.
There are nearly a dozen anti-mask or anti-vaccine protests or events scheduled for the first few weeks in September, as right-wing groups and activists continue to use Facebook and Eventbrite to organize protests against public health measures intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Radical Reports has identified protests or events planned in at least ten states at locations include state capitol buildings, health care facilities, universities, and public schools. The events are organized by an assortment of right-wing figures, including Republican congressional and gubernatorial candidates, groups with connections to the anti-vaccination movement, and prominent right-wing organizations such as Turning Point USA.
